Minibike operator hurt following accident in Woodlawn

PAWTUCKET, RI – According to WJAR, a person riding a minibike was injured in a multi-vehicle collision near Main St and Sayles Ave on May 18.

The minibike rider and a person riding a motorized bicycle swerved around two cars turning from Main St onto Sayles Ave when the minibike rider crashed into a utility pole and the motorized bike rider collided with one of the vehicles.

Rescue crews transported the minibike rider to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries. The person riding the motorized bicycle was not hurt in the incident.
