MANSFIELD, MA – A semi-truck driver was killed early this morning in a single-vehicle crash on I-495 near Mansfield.
According to CBS Boston, the driver lost control of his Freightliner semi-truck in the northbound lanes of the freeway at about 3:35 a.m. The truck then skidded across all southbound lanes before crashing into the woods.
The driver, 55-year-old Peter Fennell, was pronounced dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported as a result of the deadly crash.
