LINCOLN, RI – One person died and two others were injured when a suspected impaired driver slammed into an attenuator Saturday, according to WJAR.
Christopher Vincent, 25, was heading north on RI 146 when he lost control of the vehicle and collided with the attenuator around 2:34 a.m.
William Molloy, 22, was a front-seat passenger. He died in the crash. Rescue crews transported Vincent and another passenger to an area hospital with serious injuries.
Authorities have charged Vincent with Driving Under the Influence of Liquor or Drugs, Death Resulting and Driving to Endanger, Death Resulting.
