NEWPORT, RI – Newport police said that flames were extinguished from a semi-truck transporting gasoline Monday morning, according to Turn to 10.
This incident took place on Ruggles Avenue. It is unclear if the fire was started due to mechanical issues or a collision. The driver was able to leave the scene of the truck accident unscathed.
