JAMESTOWN, RI – According to WJAR, two people were hurt in a two-vehicle crash on the Claiborne Pell/Newport Bridge on Friday.
The drivers of a silver pickup truck and a black pickup truck collided around 12:30 p.m.
Emergency crews extricated one person from one of the trucks and transported them to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The Jamestown Police Department is investigating the incident.
