FAIRHAVEN, MA – According to WJAR, a man died following a two-vehicle collision at Main St and Hedge St Sunday.
George Thatcher, 59, was driving a red Chevrolet Sedan south on Main St when he strayed into the northbound lanes of traffic and collided with a Toyota Rav4 around 7:10 p.m.
Rescue crews transported Thatcher to an area hospital, where he died. They transported all four occupants of the Rav4 to an area hospital with minor injuries.
