NEW BEDFORD, RI – A man lost control of his motorcycle while traveling on Union Street, which led to a collision and his death on Sunday.
The motorcycle crash occurred around 2:30 a.m. near Elm Street, according to WJAR News 10. A passerby saw what unfolded and rushed to the motorcyclist’s aid and conducted CPR on him.
Upon arrival, EMS crews rushed the motorcyclist to a hospital, where he later died. New Bedford police did not release the man’s name, but said he was 37 years old.
Officers are continuing to investigate the details behind the motorcycle crash and do not suspect foul play to have been a contributing factor.
