DARTMOUTH, MA – According to WJAR, a driver fatally collided with a student at UMass Dartmouth on Ring Road near Balsam & Spruce Hall Thursday.
A UMass student was driving when they hit Frank Petillo Jr. around 5:30 p.m.
Rescue crews transported Petillo to an area hospital, where he died.
Following the collision, the driver remained at the scene of the accident.
It is unclear if the driver will face any charges.
