FAIRHAVEN, MA – Four people were sent to the hospital following a single-vehicle crash on US-6 in east Fairhaven last Friday, April 22nd.
According to the Fairhaven Neighborhood News, the crash took place at about 8 a.m. near the intersection with Alden Road.
Police say the driver of a 2011 Chrysler Town and Country van, 75-year-old Maria Carreiro, lost control for unknown reasons. The van then jumped a curb and struck a power pole.
Carreiero and all three passengers of the van were hospitalized with unspecified injuries.
