JOHNSTON, RI – Two drivers suffered minor injuries Wednesday after a RIPTA bus and a car crashed at George Waterman Road and Polk Street, reports NBC 10 News.
The wreck reportedly happened at about 4:30 p.m. Investigators say the car was entering the intersection from Polk Street just before the impact.
Officers cited the motorist in the car for a right-of-way offense.
Emergency crews took both the bus driver and the car driver to a hospital for treatment. Authorities described the injuries as minor.
