GLOCESTER, RI – A woman was injured on Tuesday in a rollover wreck that resulted in damage to a utility pole along Durfee Hill Road, reports NBC 10 News.
Police said the crash involved a single vehicle. Investigators believe excess speed may have played a role.
The driver reportedly lost control of her vehicle before it overturned and slammed into a power pole.
Emergency crews took the woman to Rhode Island Hospital. Officials described her injuries as not life-threatening.
The wreck disrupted traffic in the area while crews closed the road so Rhode Island Energy could repair the damaged equipment.
