FALL RIVER, MA ā A 62-year-old woman crossing President Avenue lost her life after she was struck by a driver Friday, WPRI reported.Ā
This collision happened around 9:06 p.m. Upon arrival, authorities rushed the pedestrian, Donalda Ferreira, to Charlton Memorial Hospital, where she succumbed to fatal wounds.Ā
The driver, a 42-year-old woman from Fall River (whose name was not released), remained at the scene. Officials said she was not intoxicated and was not arrested.Ā
Police started an investigation and have not released other details at this time.Ā
