New Bedford man hospitalized after Tiverton crash

TIVERTON, RI – A man from New Bedford was taken to the hospital after a single-vehicle in Tiverton on Monday.

According to the Fall River Reporter, 64-year-old Brian Beaulieu crashed his 1997 Dodge Dakota pickup truck into a stone wall near the intersection of Stafford Road and Windwood Drive at about 12:44 a.m.

Officers discovered Beaulieu standing outside of his truck, attempting to deactivate the horn. He was taken to Newport Hospital after complaining of rib and hip pain.

Investigators believe Beaulieu suffered a medical issue, which led him to lose control of the vehicle.
