Twenty-year-old Rhode Island resident Travis Rainville lost his life during a single-vehicle car accident in Dartmouth, Massachusetts last Sunday, May 29.
According to preliminary investigations, Rainville was a passenger in a silver pickup truck that crashed onto a utility pole along Old Fall River Road. He succumbed to the mortal injuries that he sustained several hours after the accident. Four other people, who were occupants in the same pickup truck, were critically injured and had to be rushed to local hospitals for medical treatment. None of their injuries were life-threatening, and Dartmouth Police Department Detective Kyle Costa said the four other individuals are “expected to make it through without any problems.” The driver of the vehicle was identified as 20-year-old Riverside resident Gage Dyson.
