SWANSEA, MA – According to WJAR, two people were hurt in a wrong-way crash on Swansea Mall Dr on Jan. 18.
A 53-year-old man was driving north in the southbound lanes when he collided with another vehicle around 8 p.m.
Following the collision, one of the vehicles caught on fire.
Emergency crews extricated both drivers and transported them to an area hospital.
Authorities arrested the 53-year-old man for suspected operating under the influence of liquor.
