EAST PROVIDENCE, RI ā A solo crash ended with downed power lines, the female driver sustaining injuries and facing numerous pending civil charges Monday.
This collision, which resulted in downed power lines, happened in the area of Pawtucket Avenue and Heath Street, according to Turnto10. Immediately after arriving, first responders rushed the woman to Rhode Island Hospital for treatment of minor wounds.
East Providence Police also closed the intersection to accommodate the crash clean-up process and investigation. During that time, they redirected drivers in the area to exit using Wampanoag Trail and Ivan Avenue.
