2 killed, 2 injured in two-sedan crash near Dartmouth

NEAR DARTMOUTH, MA – Two people were killed, and two others were injured in a two-sedan crash near Dartmouth and Westport on Friday.

According to WJARNews10, the crash, which involved a blue Toyota Camry sedan and a SAAB sedan, occurred around 7:30 p.m on Route 6. 

Ambulance crews rushed a male driver and a female passenger to a hospital, where they later died. Two others survived and suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

The Bristol County District Attorney’s Office has since identified the deceased as 34-year-old Tristan Bedient from Acushnet, the male driver, and 51-year-old Kate Aldrich from New Bedford.

Massachusetts State Police Detective Unit, Dartmouth Police, and Westport Police are working to determine how the collision unfolded and have not announced any citations or arrests at this time.
