CUMBERLAND, RI – A RIPTA bus driver and passenger were hospitalized after a rear-end crash involving a trash truck on the 861 block of Mendon Road Friday.
According to WJAR News 10, the bus driver rear-ended a trash truck as it was waiting to turn left. The trash truck driver was uninjured, while the bus driver and passenger sustained unspecified injuries.
Cumberland police did not specify what physical condition the bus passenger and driver were left in or confirm whether the driver would face charges.
