Officials investigate train-pedestrian crash in Cranston 

CRANSTON, RI – First responders are investigating the events behind a collision involving an 18-year-old female teenager and a train along Pawtuxet River Saturday.

This incident occurred at the railroad tracks at Wellington Avenue and Avery Road, according to Turnto10. Following the crash, authorities canceled the Acela train 2248 due to “ongoing delays.”

It is not immediately clear if the pedestrian was injured or hospitalized.
