CRANSTON, RI – Ambulance personnel rushed a 70-year-old man to Rhode Island Hospital after he was hit by a RIPTA bus in Rolfe Square Thursday.
Cranston Police confirmed with Turnto10 that the man is in stable condition, noting he is conscious and alert of his surroundings.
Due to the nature of this crash, officers and crews had to shut down a portion of Rolfe Square to accommodate the standard scene clearance procedure and investigation. At this time, there have been no reports of any reopenings or additional details behind Thursday’s collision.
