CRANSTON, RI – A 23-year-old man was arrested for driving recklessly after he fled from police and crashed his pickup truck into a guardrail on an I-295 South off-ramp Wednesday.
Turnto10 said that prior to the collision, police attempted to pull over the driver at 9:30 p.m. on eastbound Hartford Avenue. When the motorist — Giovanni Paliotti, a Warwick man — refused, then the chase began.
The pursuit ended along Hartford Avenue. Authorities did not specify if Paliotti was injured.
