BOURNE, MA ā Two people had to go to the hospital following a head-on collision in Bourne on Wednesday, WCVB said.Ā
A pickup truck and a Jeep collided head-on on Sandwich Road and injured both drivers.Ā
Medical helicopter personnel airlifted the pickup truck driver, a 43-year-old man from Pocasset, to a hospital, while the Jeep driver, a 25-year-old man from North Carolina, was taken via ambulance to a local emergency room.Ā Ā
Officials shut down the area between Mid-Cape Connector and Route 6 and the Bourne Rotary, for the scene clean-up process.Ā
The cause of the crash is under investigation.Ā
