Pedestrian dies after getting hit by car in North Attleborough

NORTH ATTLEBOROUGH, MA – A driver of a white GMC veered off Commonwealth Avenue, leading them to hit a tree and resulting in a pedestrian’s death Sunday.

Turnto10 said emergency crews transported the pedestrian, identified as Daniel Stober, to Attleboro’s Sturdy Memorial Hospital first and then via a medical helicopter to Rhode Island Hospital, where he passed away.

The driver of the vehicle, a 24-year-old man, remained at the scene and will not face charges at this time.
