Honda impacts with semi on I-95 in Attleboro, killing 1

ATTLEBORO, MA – A two-vehicle collision along the interstate in northwest Bristol County claimed the life of a Mansfield man on Wednesday.

According to 10 WJAR, the accident occurred near mile marker 3.2 on I-95 in the city of Attleboro, about 13 miles northeast of Providence.

Police haven’t yet commented on the cause of the crash, which involved a Honda Civic and a semi truck. Photos taken at the scene depict a blue sedan wedged beneath the rear of an 18-wheeler.

The driver of the Honda, later identified as 43-year-old Chad Askew, died after transport to an area hospital.

No other injuries have been reported in connection to the collision.
