Driver cited, motorcyclist critically hurt after Attleboro T-bone wreck

ATTLEBORO, MA – An 80-year-old man was cited after causing a T-bone collision that left a motorcyclist in critical condition Tuesday, WPRI reports.

The collision took place at 12:45 p.m. Preliminary details showed that the 80-year-old man, driving a minivan, had struck a motorcyclist while trying to turn left on eastbound Highland Avenue.

EMS crews rushed the motorcyclist, a 65-year-old man, to Rhode Island Hospital. The 80-year-old man himself was uninjured, although the front side of his minivan sustained minor damage.

Authorities confirmed that the 80-year-old man cooperated with investigators.
