ABINGTON, MA – Police are investigating a crash that left a pedestrian with serious injuries Friday in Plymouth County, reports Boston 25 News.
The auto-pedestrian accident happened along Route 18, or Bedford Road, near Summit Road in North Abington, about an hour northeast of Providence and 30 minutes southeast of Boston.
The cause and circumstances of the collision have not yet been disclosed to the public.
Medics transported the pedestrian to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.
No charges have been announced thus far.
A full investigation is underway.
