GLOCESTER, RI – A three-vehicle crash involving a dump truck in Gloucester last Friday claimed the life of a woman an left three juveniles injured.
According to WPRI, the crash occurred in the 1900 block of Putnam Pike, near the intersection with Olney Keach Road at about 2:30 p.m.
The cause of the crash is unclear at this time. However, police say two small SUVs and a dump truck were involved.
The driver of one of the SUVs, a 66-year-old Glocester woman, was rusehd to a local hospital, where she died a short time later. Three juvenile passengers in her SUV were taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The other individuals involved, two adults and a juvenile were evaluated and released form the scene.
