SHARON, MA – A multiple-car crash in Sharon resulted in the death of one Mansfield man and the hospitalization of two other people on Thursday night.
WCVB reports that authorities are still investigating the crash that took place close to 7:44 p.m. near the southbound South Main Street exit off of Interstate 95.
The crash occurred when a BMW 535xi travelling erratically at high speeds struck a Subaru Impreza and a Honda CRV which both rolled over from the impact. The BMW rolled over and came to rest in the center median as well.
The driver of the BMW, identified as 24-year-old Jordan McGrath-Edlund, was transported to Sturdy Memorial Hospital where he later died of his injuries.
The 34-year-old man driving the Subaru and 70-year-old woman driving the Honda were both transported to Rhode Island Hospital. The extent of their injuries is unreported.
