PROVIDENCE, RI – Emergency crews were called to the scene of a collision with injuries on I-95 in downtown Providence this morning.
According to Rhode Island DoT, the accident happened at about 9:15 a.m. along I-95 northbound near Exit 23 to Route 7.

The events surrounding the crash are not mentioned in the report. However, reports suggest at least one person was injured as a result.
Traffic was delayed in the area for some time afterward while crews worked to clear the scene.
