FALL RIVER, MA – A man was injured after a 22-foot boat erupted in flames at Davol Street and Brownell Street on Tuesday.
According to WPRI, the man was preparing to test drive a boat to potentially purchase at the Bicentennial Park boat ramp. Once he started the boat, the motor began smoking before catching fire and spreading.
The man suffered burn injuries to his hand and arm and is expected to be ok. The incident remains under investigation.
