DARTMOUTH, MA – A young woman was killed in a single-vehicle collision on I-195 in Dartmouth early Friday morning, WFXT reports.
Police believe that Cali McMullen, a 20-year-old resident of New Bedford, lost control of her 2009 Honda Civic shortly before 2 a.m. and subsequently hit a guardrail. She was ejected from the vehicle, and died at the scene.
The highway’s westbound lanes were closed in the area until about 5:15 a.m.
The Massachusetts Highway Patrol, Dartmouth Police Department, Dartmouth Fire Department, and EMS all responded to the fatal crash.
