RAYNHAM, RI – According to WPRI, a driver collided with and seriously injured a pedestrian somewhere on N Main St Wednesday.
First responders were dispatched to the crash site around 5 p.m. They transported the victim by helicopter to an area hospital.
The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the police following the collision.
Authorities are looking into the cause of the crash.
