CRANSTON, RI – A woman from Cranston died after she was hit by a vehicle while crossing a busy street last Friday night.
According to WJAR, 62-year-old Jill Mansolillo left a restaurant and stepped out into the roadway on Oaklawn Avenue when she was struck by a southbound vehicle.
The driver immediately stopped to assist the victim. She was rushed to a nearby hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries on Wednesday morning.
No charges have been filed against the driver involved at the time of this writing.
