75-year-old man’s life claimed in pedestrian-vehicle crash in Woonsocket 

WOONSOCKET, RI – A 75-year-old man’s life was claimed in a pedestrian-vehicle crash in Woonsocket on Wednesday, WPRI reports.

The 75-year-old man was walking on Mendon Road when he was struck by a vehicle.

Police and EMS crews responded to the scene after 9 p.m. Upon arrival, ambulance crews rushed the 75-year-old man to Landmark Medical Center, where he later died.

The male driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with police. At this time, it’s unclear whether he will face charges.
