NORTHBOROUGH, MA – One driver was sent to the hospital following a wrong-way collision that happened in Northborough on Tuesday.
The incident occurred before 10:30 p.m. on Interstate 290, according to WCVB. Two drivers swerved off the road to avoid crashing head-on into a vehicle traveling the wrong way and collided with a guardrail.
One driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the emergency room.
Police said the wrong-way driver was not found at the scene of the crash.
No charges have been reported at this time.
