LAKEVILLE, MA – Two vehicle occupants were injured Wednesday afternoon in a wreck along Woodland Ridge Drive, reports NBC 10 News.
Emergency crews responded to the scene following reports of a vehicle striking a utility pole in Lakeville at about 2:15 p.m. The impact damaged the pole and disrupted electric service in the area.
Emergency personnel arrived on location and assessed the people inside the vehicle. Both occupants were transported to a hospital for treatment. Authorities did not release details about their conditions.
Investigators have not yet clarified what caused the driver to leave the roadway or hit the pole. The incident remains under investigation.
