Pawtucket bicycle crash sends rider to the hospital

PAWTUCKET, RI – A bicyclist was injured in a traffic collision Tuesday morning near 560 Mineral Spring Avenue in Pawtucket, reports NBC 10 News.

Police say the wreck, which happened around 9:05 a.m., involved a motor vehicle and a person riding a bicycle.

Emergency crews responding to the scene took the cyclist to a nearby hospital for medical treatment. Authorities described the rider’s injuries as non-critical.

Police say the motorist remained on location and cooperated with them after the impact. Officials have not announced any criminal charges. The crash remains under investigation.
