EAST GREENWICH, RI – A driver suffered injuries in a rollover crash Monday on Shippeetown Road in East Greenwich, reports NBC 10 News.
East Greenwich firefighters rescued the driver from the wrecked vehicle after the crash.
Officials say the driver hit a tree before the vehicle rolled over. Crews used extrication tools to free the driver from the vehicle.
Responders took the driver to Kent Hospital for treatment. Officials said the driver suffered injuries that did not appear life-threatening.
Authorities have not released the driver’s name and did not report what might have caused the crash.
