EAST BRIDGEWATER, MA – A two-vehicle collision that happened Tuesday in East Bridgewater claimed the life of an 86-year-old man, reports Boston 25 News.
Around 7 a.m., emergency teams responded to a major accident at the intersection of Plymouth Street and Bridge Street, which is just east of Old Colony YMCA of East Bridgewater.
There’s no word yet regarding the cause of the crash or the manner in which the two vehicles impacted.
One of the drivers, identified only as an 86-year-old man from East Bridgewater, died after transport to an area hospital.
The other driver declined medical care at the scene.
