SCITUATE, RI – A woman sustained injuries Wednesday morning in a major crash in southwest Providence County, reports WJAR 10.
The accident occurred sometime in the morning on Danielson Pike in the city of Scituate, which is about 14 miles southwest of Providence. Officials haven’t yet provided a cross street for the wreck.
It’s not yet clear what caused the collision, nor do we know how many vehicles were involved. Police say the crash caused a vehicle to overturn.
Medics transported the driver of the overturned vehicle to an area hospital with unspecified injuries.
Authorities closed Danielson Pike while crews worked at the scene.
A full investigation is underway.
