MIDDLETOWN, RI – A 47-year-old female cyclist sustained serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle on Greene Lane on Thursday.
WJAR News 10 said local police and EMS pulled up to the bicycle crash scene around 4 p.m. After arriving, EMS crews rushed the 47-year-old woman to Rhode Island Hospital for treatment.
The vehicle driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. Police have not arrested the driver, and no charges have been announced at this time.
