Car driver hospitalized after crash with transport truck in Lakeville

LAKEVILLE, MA – EMS crews transported a car driver to St. Luke’s Hospital after a two-vehicle collision that involved a transport truck Thursday.

The two-vehicle collision happened after 2:15 p.m. on Bedford Street, according to WJAR News 10. Fire crews responded to the scene around 2:30 p.m. and confirmed the truck was a roll-off container truck. The impact of the crash left the black car with significant front-end damage to its headlight section.

Lakeville fire and transportation crews closed the area for an hour so they could remove the vehicles from the site, clean up the debris, and investigate the events that led to the crash.
