PROVIDENCE, RI – Firefighters were able to put out a car fire quickly on Eastwood Avenue before it spread to other neighboring homes Thursday, WPRI said.
Crews arrived at the scene before 7 a.m. and discovered that the eight people inside the Honda were able to escape before the fire escalated. Fire crews said the fire touched a home’s exterior wall. Fortunately, they were able to cast out that fire before the flames found their way inside the home.
Authorities confirmed no individuals were physically harmed from this incident. Crews are working to determine the cause of the fire.
