Solo collision in West Greenwich sends adult, kids to hospital

WEST GREENWICH, RI – An adult driver and two passengers, children, were transported to area hospitals after their car crashed into some trees off I-95 South Wednesday.

According to some Turnto10 photos, the impact left minor front-end damage to the white car as its hood was seen up.

Upon arrival, ambulance crews rushed the driver to Rhode Island Hospital for treatment of minor wounds. While the children were spared from physical harm, first responders took Hasbro Children’s Hospital as a precautionary measure.

It was raining at the time of the collision. However, officials did not specify if weather conditions played a part in this crash. This piece of information, along with other details, will be added once authorities confirm the latest findings.
