Passenger hospitalized after single-car collision in Lakeville

LAKEVILLE, MA – An ambulance transported a person to St. Luke’s Hospital following a solo collision on Route 140 South Wednesday, Turnto10 reports.

Police arrived at the scene around 8 a.m., indicating the impact of the crash (which caused the car to spin uncontrollably) happened near the County Road ramp and stating that the person who was hospitalized was found in their vehicle when all first responders arrived at the scene. A photograph indicates a torn off front bumper, a dented passenger side door, and skid marks on the road.

Emergency crews confirmed that the individual was recovering from non-life-threatening wounds, and authorities had to close the intersection for the standard scene clearance and investigation period.

All lanes have reopened since, and the investigation, which was launched, continues underway.
