FRANKLIN, MA – A man walking outside of the railroad tracks at Union Street and Fisher Street succumbed to fatal wounds when he was hit by a train Tuesday.
The events unfolded when the man was said to have purposefully gone onto the tracks before 8 p.m. and was hit by the train, according to Turnto10.
Authorities declared the man dead at the scene. They have not specified whether the victim was dealing with suicide ideation nor disclosed his identity.
